The opportunity to work with Joe, Chau, and Matt developing The Campus Special for the first time at the University of Missouri was truly one of the most rewarding experiences of my life! At first, I was extremely nervous, but this internship allowed me to prove to myself that I am capable of anything I put my mind to! I cannot express the extreme amount of confidence that I gained throughout the summer. Even my friends and family noticed and pointed out the change in my personality! The first couple weeks were tough, but by week 4, I loved every minute of it! It was so great to be able to sell a product that I truly believed in! That is one of the best things about this product, we were selling something we could actually stand behind and believe in, rather than useless junk. I knew college students were going to absolutely love it, and my challenge was communicating this effectively to business owners. I cannot explain how amazing it makes me feel when my clients call to tell me how great of a response they have received from the Campus Special!! It feels great to have been that person to enable this connection between the student body and their business!! One of the most exciting results from this internship is my position at a local fine jeweler as a Designer Merchandise/Sales Consultant. I love my job, and The Campus Special enabled me to get my foot in the door. I know I would have never found this job if it weren't for this summer! I also would have never had the confidence to breeze through the interview process and negotiate my salary, without the experience I gained this past summer! Thank you guys so much!!!!

This past summer I worked as an intern for The Campus Special and it was very rewarding. I received hands-on experience that most students don't have the opportunity to receive. The actual coupon book is an amazing product to sell. Just one week after the book came out I went to one of my clients and they already had a full envelope of coupons redeemed from students! This internship really gives you a sense of pride because you are helping your fellow students as well as the local businesses. I've learned that you are much more successful selling a product that you believe in- and it is very easy to believe in this product because it really does work! In addition to learning how to market a product, I learned how to market myself. I gained self-confidence and I established relationships with all different types of businesses and business owners. It a truly an experience that is second to none.

Working with Chau and Joe for the summer was such an unforgettable and influential experience. I had just completed my first year of college, so being one of the youngest interns, Joe and Chau decided to take a risk and give me a chance. I cannot thank them enough for giving me that opportunity and the guidance towards becoming a better sales representative each and everyday. I was a slow starter, but all I heard from Chau and Joe were words of encouragement and motivation. By the end of the summer, there was a noticeable difference in the level of confidence I had in myself, as well as the leadership skills I possessed. Chau and Joe are amazing mentors as well as friends, and I know that I can count on them to be there for me in the future!

I could not be happier with my experience with The Campus Special this summer. This internship completely exceeded my already high expectations I had intended for it at the beginning of the summer. The Campus Special has helped me better myself in many different aspects, not only professionally, but personally as well. I learned the art of the sale and improved on it throughout the summer and now I apply the knowledge I learned to my everyday life. Not to mention all of the networking you gain by meeting with many of the business owners around the area. There is so much that I could accredit this internship for, but a few things that stick out are that I learned how to be more persuasive, more successful, more charismatic, and how to read people. The Campus Special was new to SIU this year and just about every business that advertised with us has been ecstatic about their return. This really is the BEST FORM OF ADVERTISING any school has ever seen. The Campus Special is a 100% legitimate product that I can personally believe will be around for a very long time and continue to thrive at every school it comes to. Matt, Chau, and Joe are AWESOME! I know I read all of the good things that were said about these 3 when I was applying and I just kind of assumed that they were good guys. But let me tell you, these 3 guys will bend over backwards for you personally and professionally. I have worked since the age of 11, and I have never had this much support from any kind of manager or supervisor. They WILL HELP YOU SUCCEED. They are respected in the college advertising community and their networking skills can help you get your foot in the door in practically any field. This internship will change your life forever and help you learn what it takes to be successful. I have gained so much confidence in my abilities over the course of the internship which in turn made me much more confident about my future. I could never thank Matt, Joe, and Chau enough for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to work for them. Go Campus Special!

Last summer I was an intern for The Campus Special under Matt Brown. This internship turned out to be the best possible opportunity for me; it was just what I needed. The experience I gained cannot be put into words. I developed the self-confidence, persistence, and professionalism needed in order to succeed in school and my career after graduation. Furthermore, the coupon books on campus are a major hit...many of my professors have told me how impressed they are with the book and tons of students and friends have thanked me for putting it together. The sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that is gained from this internship is amazing. When I look back on my summer, I realize how much I developed as a professional and how much the skills I learned will carry over into my career. I have received calls from many business owners thanking me for encouraging them to sign up with The Campus Special; they now have more college students coming into their business than every before! If you are looking for an internship to truly give you "experience" and allow you to maximize and further develop your abilities, The Campus Special is the one for you. When prospective employers speak with me regarding employment opportunities with their company, they always bring up how impressive my internship experience is. I will always be grateful to Matt for his guidance and encouragement and the friendship that we have developed will last a lifetime. If you want to be fully prepared for a career when you graduate, interning with The Campus Special is one of the best choices you can make.

Just a few months ago, I stumbled upon what would turn into the opportunity of a lifetime - an internship with The Campus Special, under the guidance of Joe Jacobs. I was entering my last few weeks as a college senior with no sales experience what-so-ever and thought an internship might look nice on my resume. Although I was skeptical at first, I can look back and honestly say it was the most fun, exciting, and rewarding summer I've ever had. When I think back to all the teachers, coaches, friends, and mentors in my life - Joe Jacobs tops the list. Not only was he an exceptional person to work under, but I am honored to call him a great friend. I cannot say enough great things about Joe - he's AMAZING and will go out of his way to help you after the internship. Every interview I went on after graduating - I landed an offer because of my proven sales experience. I learned how to sell myself with confidence. I graduated college only 3 months ago & landed my dream job working for CBS Broadcasting. I am one of the youngest account executives in the entire Chicago market and am using everything I have learned from Joe and The Campus Special on a daily basis. Advice I would give to new account executives would be - THINK BIG! - You have one-on-one access to an elite team of professionals - Joe, Chau, and Matt are AMAZING resources - use them! They are so eager and ready to make you as great as you want to be! Be positive, persistent, and patient. Believe in yourself and your team whole-heartedly! Work hard & work smart! Great things will happen, I promise! Best wishes & may you all be ready to have the summer of your life! Thanks, Joe! I can't thank you enough! You are the best!

Working as an Account Executive for The Campus Special was by far the best internship I have ever had. I learned so much about sales, marketing, and accounts management, but I also learned so much about myself. I now have the confidence and skills to help me succeed in whatever I plan on doing next. This internship was challenging, but believing in the product and genuinely wanting to help out the local businesses makes it all the easier. It is so nice to have built relationships with so many local business owners, and such a reward seeing the product bring them more student business! Once school started I saw the coupon books all over campus and heard everyone talk about where they could get more, which made everything I did that summer definitely worth its while! I could not have asked for a better internship; working with great bosses and other interns, along with seeing the success of my time and effort is more than I could have ever expected!

The Campus Special was definitely a great internship! I was very hesitant about it, but I am so glad that I did it. This internship has been exceptionally beneficial; it improved my communication skills, enhanced my confidence, and I developed great time management skills. This was the first year for the Campus Special coupon book to be at BGSU and it was a major hit! Once the book came out to all the students, everyone was talking about the book and how great it was. I over heard students talking it up while I was handing out the book and it made me feel great! Working with Matt Brown was another great quality about this internship. He was always so positive and motivating. If I ever needed anything, he was always there for me. Everything that I learned from this internship will definitely come in handy in the future. My future success will definitely be because of the Campus Special internship.

This internship experience has by far exceeded my expectations of what I was getting myself into for the summer of 2007. When I was first interviewing for the position I was somewhat skeptical about sales in general but I figured I would give it a shot and hopefully get some good experience from it. When we got to Atlanta for the training conference, my worries immediately started to melt away. The training that we received from Chau, Joe, Matt, and the previous interns was excellent. Their motivation and enthusiasm let us all know that we were capable of being very successful. My first few days of sales were tough because it was new to me and my confidence and experience were still building. Matt was very helpful and motivating and kept pressing me to keep my chin up and give 100% effort everyday. As the weeks passed by I could sense myself becoming more confident and really getting a better understanding of how to close a sale. Before this internship I never would have considered a career in sales, but now that is the only thing that I can see myself doing. This internship would be a perfect opportunity for anyone who would like to better themself both professionally and personally. This experience has definitely changed me for the better and I am deeply thankful for that. Trust me when I say that if I can do this, anyone can!

Interning with The Campus Special has enhanced my resume to a level of prestige that has employers knocking at my door. However, this was not the average internship doing busy-work, this was a job with a lot of responsibility handling thousands of dollars worth of accounts that I sold! I witnessed myself grow from an inexperienced college student to a capable professional in just one summer! I was able to develop a foundation of skills such as relationship building, persistence, and persuasion that will help me in my career for the rest of my life. Not to mention I got to see all of the students at my college enjoy and praise the book that I created! The Campus Special has a special place in my heart because it has made such a positive impact on my future and such a positive impact on my campus. I recommend this internship to anyone who wants to be a step ahead of their peers and gain the respect and attention of prospective employers.

Working with The Campus Special was one of the most rewarding, challenging, and life changing experiences of my college career. The primary purpose of taking this internship was to build my resume and earn some spending money. After the training conference, I realized that my role as an account executive would be much more than a summer job. I came into contact with hundreds of business owners, managed accounts, and gained an understanding of the 'world of sales'. Most importantly, I was able to provide a valuable product for 19,000 students at my school. I felt an enormous sense of pride when the finished product was distributed, and college students on a budget were presented with a book of really great deals. My personal success from The Campus Special internship would not have been possible without my boss, Matt Brown, and his unlimited amount of support and positive attitude. Thanks again Matt, Joe, and Chau!

When I first flew into Chicago for the training seminar I was extremely nervous and had no idea what to expect. The first time I met Chau and Joe I listened to them talk about what lay ahead and my worries faded and were replaced with the confidence that I had made the right choice about working for Campus Special. This internship was incredible not only because I learned how to speak to various kinds of people, but also because I learned how to trust people, especially Chau. Chau was there for my every step of the way and went above and beyond any boss I had ever worked with. He always made time to talk about any question that I had about a client, or even to celebrate when I signed a contract! This internship taught me skills that I will use every day in my life and in every future profession. Speaking in front of people used to be my biggest fear and now after a summer of talking to people you had never met before, I am more confident then I have ever been. There are so many beneficial aspects of this job but I believe that you have to experience it to really know how much this internship can impact your life.

This past summer I learned how to think on my feet, I learned how to sell a product I believed in to someone I just met, and I picked up more knowledge on building customer relationships with The Campus Special than I would have working for anyone else. The rewards for working for Chau and Joe are endless. Not only do you receive training, earn commission and gain experience during the internship, but when schools starts and we got our distribution team together they were PUMPED about handing out our coupon book on campus because of the great deals in it! We had so much fun handing them out on campus because we were getting such AMAZING feedback from students about our book...it was a sense of pride I guess you can say!! I loved it and my partner and I worked hard all summer to put together something that students thank us for and businesses still e-mail us raving about it. If that's not what you're looking for in an internship, I don't know what is!

The internship program with The Campus Special was the best learning experience I have ever had in preparing for a full-time job. I gained confidence in myself and had a chance to put my communications skills to use in a professional setting. Every aspect of marketing to college students is taken into consideration for the success of the coupon books. One of the most rewarding aspects of the internship was when a client of mine told me how the coupon book has performed above his expectations and he continues to see college business based on advertising with The Campus Special. Until he advertised with us he has never been able to get students into his business. If you're like me, you want to work for a reputable company with a product that works and that is why I recommend this internship.

There is no class or other internship that could have given me the invaluable experience and self confidence that I have learned through Chau Nguyen and through my client interactions as an Account Executive for The Campus Special. I was always a good, dedicated student, but through this internship I learned to multi-task like a pro, to be confident, and to be extremely persuasive. I also gained communication skills and problem-solving skills that I apply to all of my interactions from conversations and debates to job interviews and work presentations. The best part of this internship is the self-gratification I received when I saw how excited my friends and classmates were when they received their copies of The Campus Special. It was a HUGE SUCCESS in Starkville, and my success and hard work shows through every time I walk into Subway, Lenny's, and our other clients' stores and see the stacks of coupons redeemed on the counter, and when I hear classmates talking to each other about how amazing the books are and what great deals are inside. The product is amazing, and your bosses are helpful, supportive, and fun. Chau, Joe, and Matt are wonderful guys who are always there to help you grow to your fullest potential. Do not miss out of this invaluable experience!

Working as an intern for The Campus Special this summer was the best experience of my life. From day one of the extensive training program all the way to the last day of the summer I was able to gain life long skills to further my career in marketing and sales. Working for The Campus Special helped me build the confidence and composure to be more professional in the business world. On top of building personal skills to further my career I was also able to help all of my peers at Michigan State University by giving them an amazing book with some really great deals. All of this is great, but nothing compares to having a boss like Joe or Chau. They are always there to give you the best advice and are the best mentors I have ever had. If you are interested in furthering your career in any business profession, then The Campus Special is by far the best experience available in order to learn the skills necessary to succeed and excel in today's world!!!

Working for the Campus Special last summer was a life-changing experience. The best part was getting to know local business owners and working with them on a daily basis. When searching for an internship for this past summer, I was seeking one that would give me hands-on experience in the business world, involve different tasks everyday, provide me with the opportunity to meet new people, and build new relationships--not an internship where I would be sitting in a cubicle, filing papers or fetching coffee all day like some of the bad internship stories that I'd heard before. I wanted one that would challenge me and help me to become a young professional. Interning with The Campus Special gave me all this and so much more! This past summer, working for Chau Nguyen and Joe Jacobs, I had such a great experience and learned more than I could have ever imagined I would in one summer. Chau and Joe are phenomenal bosses and mentors, and I couldn't have asked for better, especially for my first internship. They were always there if I needed help and always motivating me and challenging me to do my best and exceed even my own expectations. It was amazing to see the professionalism, the confidence working with business owners, and the persistence that I developed in such a short period of time. This internship is a diamond in the rough. It has given me so many great experiences, pushing myself to overcome obstacles and seeing first hand that persistence pays profits. I know it is an experience that will definitely set me apart from the competition in today's competitive job market.

What I loved most about the internship is the real life experience I gained from it. Chau and Joe were always there to give me constant support and encouragement. I loved working so close with a mentor. It is a rare opportunity to get to do this and a great part of this internship. Most of these testimonials will say you can learn sales skills and communication skills through this internship, but you learn so much more. You learn how to network, how to approach business owners and not be intimidated, how to be very persistent, and stay positive. If you truly believe in the product you are selling, and you should because it is awesome, the owners can see and they respect that and they can relate to that a lot more. The product is amazing, every college kid wants to save money, and you have the opportunity to make a coupon book that you and every other student on campus wants and needs. There are two situations in this internship when you are guaranteed to put a huge smile on your face. The first is when you make a sale -nothing can compare to this! The second is when you pass out the coupon books that you worked your entire summer to make, and see them being used on campus! Nothing beats that, because that is when I realized all of my hard work really paid off. When someone was talking about how great The Campus Special coupon book was, I just smiled and thought to myself, "Yep. I made that!" I really recommend this internship.

Working for The Campus Special will be something that I remember for the rest of my life. I have never learned so much in my life, and never had the ability to apply it to real-world situations until I joined The Campus Special team. Your bosses, Chau and Joe, will help you with anything throughout the course of the summer. Being able to pick up the phone and call Chau or Joe has been advantageous for me even after the internship. I came into this program with the hopes of learning the basics of sales, and hoped to extend my network for when I graduated. Not only did I accomplish this, but I established relationships with many of the town's business owners that will last an eternity, and came home every day with some sense of satisfaction. I really enjoyed the hands-on experience this internship provided, as opposed to being locked in a cubicle from 9-6. You really get to go out, explore, and take in everything your community has to offer. If you're looking for an internship that is not only a resume builder, but a gratifying and beneficial experience, then working for The Campus Special is right up your alley.

I worked for the Campus Special last summer and it really was an experience like no other. I am now applying for a full-time job and all of my prospective employers love that I have real sales experience. Other than sales experience, this job really did help my confidence and with my communication skills. It really was exciting to see the final coupon books on campus and in the hands of students and my friends. I would recommend this internship over any other because you will gain actual experience and not just sit behind a desk all day and run errands. This summer I worked for The Campus Special under the close supervision of my manager, Matt Brown. Taking on this challenging internship was one of the best decisions I've made in my college career. Coming away from this summer I have a self-confidence, discipline and sales experience that would be impossible to gain from a typical desk job. But the sales aspect of this job was not the only rewarding part. Seeing the final product around campus, in the hands of the students, and their reaction to it was amazing. I knew then that all of our hard work had paid off. In job interviews with employers, the vast majority of the conversation revolves around my experience as an Account Executive. I would certainly recommend this internship, but only to those who are looking to have the most challenging and most rewarding summer of their life.

Working for Matt Brown this summer as part of The Camups Special team was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences I've ever had. When I started looking for internships I never thought I would end up in such a hands-on position that would offer me much more than just a "typical" internship. Working as an Account Executive over the summer not only taught me the value of integrity, persistence and hardwork, but it also taught me so much about myself! Working so hard for something and then actually getting to see the finally product that you put together is very rewarding. I even got a call from one of clients a couple months after the book came out saying that he's never had such a great return on any advertising that he's done before! Also, when you see everyone carrying the coupon books with them around campus, there's no greater feeling then knowing you were part of a team that made that happen! I recommend this internship for anyone who is ready to see what they can really do!

Working for The Campus Special this past summer was the best experience I have had in college. I saw my confidence in speaking with business owners skyrocket throughout the summer. Selling advertising space to local business owners was a very rewarding experience because I knew I was not only helping their business succeed, but also providing a great, money saving coupon book for my fellow college students. It was rewarding to get feedback from my clients after the internship to see just how many coupons they are seeing back in their business from the coupon book. When looking back on the experience and how much it has taught me, I would have to recommend this internship to all college students.

My summer internship with The Campus Special started before the school year even got over with so I knew that this company was one that was not going to be a slow-moving, wait around and twiddle my thumbs type of a company. In fact, it was quite the opposite. By the end of the summer, my partner and I were looking for more time and days to get more clients even though we were in one of the smallest college markets out of the entire Campus Special colleges selected. Determination is the biggest part of this internship. Once those books are passed out on your campus and you are known as the "coupon girl/guy" on campus as well as in the community, it makes everything worth it. The clients that were the hardest to get in the book are now the ones who are getting some of the biggest returns. I've made a lot of great contacts with the majority of business owners in my town and that definitely comes with some perks! I also worked with a great partner which made the entire summer a great time. This is the internship for you if you are looking for some real-world, hands-on experience in your career field; you will NOT be behind a desk all day or changing coffee filters in the break room.

In today's competitive job market, graduates must have an internship to even be considered for most positions. I have spent my summers interning in public relations in New York City, in marketing research in Birmingham, and in sales for The Campus Special. Working with Matt Brown and The Campus Special has been a priceless experience for me that I cannot even compare to my other internships or what I learned in college. Not only did I meet with some of the most important business owners around campus, but I also developed skills that have given me a stronger sense of self-motivation, discipline, and professionalism that will last forever. The Campus Special internship prepared me for my graduate school program and I feel that I am way ahead of my peers because of my sales experience. I cannot even express how wonderful it is to see my clients around town and have them thank me for bringing the Campus Special to their business. Also, four months after the books came out, I still have friends coming to me begging for more coupon books! Chau, Joe and Matt are wonderful mentors and will be there for you every step of the way throughout the summer and long after.

I have worked for The Campus Special this past summer and I will say that is really has changed my life. Although I was a little nervous my first day, learning to overcome that fear made me a stronger person. The experience I received with The Campus Special I will take with me to my next job. It has taught me organization, motivation, writing skills, sales, advertising, and most of all confidence. This internship experience was unlike any other. In most internships you will fax, file, and sometimes answer phone calls, but with The Campus Special, you are actually out in the job field receiving the kind of experience that is essential for a job out of college. This whole experience was extremely rewarding. Not only do owners love these books, students love them too! When I was passing out the coupon books to students on campus, they would say "I Love these books!" or "I use this all the time!" The Campus Special is a really great product for both business owners and students and I am truly grateful to have found that out myself. Starting out this summer I had no idea how to go about finding as well as speaking to business owners, or if I was even capable of making a good book for my campus. Looking back at it all now, I am a completely new person. I am more confident, outgoing, and have even switched my major to marketing/PR solely because of this internship. This summer, with the help of Matt Brown, I was able to put together an AMAZING book that has the entire campus talking! I learned how to tackle rejection and turn a "no" into "yes." This internship allowed me to network with owners and even to this day I am still in contact with. I have benefited so much from this experience and I could not have done it without the constant support and motivation from Joe, Chau and Matt. So, if you are looking for an internship that can enhance your business skills immensely, give you a 'real world' experience, and prepare you for a successful future, then DEFINITELY take this opportunity and work with the best team ever!

Looking back on this past summer with the Campus Special, it's truly hard to believe how much I accomplished. Beyond this, I also feel so fortunate to have worked for Joe, Chau and Matt. They were nothing short of encouraging and supportive throughout the summer. When received an offer to intern for The Campus Special last year, I really had no idea it would turn out to be the most productive summer of my life!!! From day one of a very detailed training conference Joe, Chau and Matt were excited and positive about the product, but it wasn't until I really started to sell and see our own book form that I discovered why they were so excited and enthusiastic all of the time. Getting the opportunity to present myself and show business owners why this coupon book is awesome helped me improve my communication skills. I discovered that I could professionally present myself to a business owner and walk right up to them with a smile and a firm hand shake without fear or hesitation, something that I had always admired in people but never thought that I could do. I discovered organization skills that I never could quite master and the important idea of persistence and patience. The Campus Special helped me see the result of hard work. I know that I will always look back on my summer and see how this has helped me discover a newfound passion for sales and marketing.

The Campus Special has taught me soo many things! I have learned how to become confident and go after what I want. After seeing the book printed and have proof of all my hard work, it really makes a difference. In the beginning it was definitely a challenge, but in the end it does pay off when you go back into stores and know all of the owners names and they are thanking you for putting them in the coupon book. They are very supportive thru the entire process and are very supportive even after the internship ends and the career search begins. It's an experience that will truly help you grow into a young professional.

This summer I was so glad I was given the opportunity of working with Matt Brown and The Campus Special. As an account executive I grew to be a confident, determined, and successful person. Every day I learned so much, not by reading a book, but by hands on experience! I can't believe I have become the professional person that I am today in just one summer. I am so thankful that I was given the chance to be an intern for The Campus Special and strongly urge anyone who has high goals and wants to learn what the business world is all about to be an account executive for The Campus Special. Whether you are a marketing, pre-law, or pre-med major, this internship will help you develop into the type of person that every employer wants to hire. The kind of experience that I gained this summer I couldn't have gotten anywhere else!

The Campus Special gave me everything and more of what I was looking for in an internship. Not only did it help me learn from my strengths and weaknesses, it also helped me grow as a professional and as an overall person. Having Matt as my mentor on call everyday at anytime, gave me the confidence and support that I needed to succeed. I have never had someone believe in me the way he did, regardless of my lack of experience in sales. I can genuinely say that this experience has changed my life for the better, and I am so grateful to have worked for this company. I recommend this internship to anyone who would like to build their confidence, have a competitive edge over their peers, or to any one who wants to have the most amazing summer of their life, because that is exactly what this will give you.

Working for the Campus Special was unlike any other learning experience I've ever had. A student can learn only so much in the classroom. In order to be fully prepared for the real world that's just around the corner, real hands-on training is what you need. The Campus Special provides this and so much more. With Chau, Joe or Matt by your side the possibilities to succeed at this internship are endless. They devote themselves 100% to this book and, most importantly, to your personal development. Whether it's needing the right thing to say or calling with the good news of a sale the guys are a phone call, email or text away! The Campus Special will mold you from student to professional in a mere four months! With this internship you can expect an increased sense of self-confidence, a better ability to communicate well and the edge you need to shine brighter than other job candidates. Working for this company was the chance of a lifetime.

I always knew I wanted to do an internship to find out if sales was the field I wanted to pursue as a career. I wanted to find an internship with hands on experience and one that allowed me to network. The Campus Special was perfect, I got such good real world experience, I met tons of business owners in my college town and I learned so much about myself. Meeting with clients' everyday improved not only my confidence, but also my professionalism. Having Chau's support and motivation also allowed me to never give up and kept me confident. My partner and I were able to triple our coupon book from the previous year and seeing the finished product was the best part of the whole summer! The positive response that students had towards the books was a great feeling just knowing that I made this product for students at my school. I would suggest this internship to anyone who wants something challenging, but yet so rewarding in the end!

This was a challenging summer, but it was completely worth it! The relationships I formed are priceless. But what I'm most proud of is that all of my friends have the coupon books AND use them! I was apprehensive at first because I'm from a smaller college town, but as it turned out, students are still students regardless of where they are and will always have a need of saving money! I still keep in touch with my clients and it makes me feel so great to hear the positive feedback from the same business owners who were skeptical at first! Best internship yet!

I worked for The Campus Special this past summer as an intern and it was a really great experience. It was challenging at first, but throughout the summer I really learned a lot about the real world, but even more about myself. I learned about hard work, perseverance and also how to deal with people. Matt helped me with numerous phone calls every day guiding me through sales and pushing me to be my best. It almost becomes more than a job as you go through it, and you'll be able to tell when you see the finished product you created distributed all over your school. I would recommend this internship to anyone who is ready to get away from your typical college summer job, and get some real world experience then The Campus Special is what you want.

Being given the opportunity to work as an intern for The Campus Special was something that changed my life. I grew into a more self confident and knowledgeable person. Working with Joe Jacobs taught me more about the business world, as well as myself, than I ever thought I would be able to learn in only 12 weeks. Seeing my coupon books being handed out on campus and the reactions from not only the students, but my clients, was more than rewarding. I highly recommend this internship to anyway who is willing to work hard and gain more experience than most people their age.

"Sign me up!" Those were the three best words I heard all summer long. Hi, my name is Rachel and I worked as an account executive for The Campus Special this past summer. Sales is the backbone of business, so if you want to get involved in an internship that teaches you the skills to successfully conduct t business transactions, then The Campus Special is for you. If you want to be supervised by the most encouraging and supportive bosses, then this internship is for you. If you want the responsibility of managing accounts and developing a brand new product in your college town, then The Campus Special is for you! I can't stress enough how much you learn about yourself and others through this program. Once you have the coupon booklet in your hands, the book that you worked hard to put together all the summer, you realize how much you have matured and you feel your confidence rise. To this day, I have clients calling and thanking me for helping them and I still get the occasional free perks from clients. If you want this awesome feeling, than I suggest you apply right now!

There truly exists no parallel to the internship offered by The Campus Special. Never in my life have I been so challenged, pushed, motivated, and ultimately fulfilled in one single program. My career goals point far away from the realm of sales / marketing, but I must admit that without gaining such skills as throwing a sales pitch, facing professional rejection, and managing multiple accounts, I would not have the distinctive edge that I have today. As a broadcast news and anthropology major, I now have that extra glint of business savvy confidence and practicality that I otherwise would have never acquired. Hands down, The Campus Special tweaked my outlook on the "real" world, and forced me to act rather than watch, to confront rather than cower, and to persevere rather than concede. This internship exceeded my expectations and established for me a positive, solid base for networking. Chau, Joe, and Matt are amazing bosses and, as one of the only freshmen accepted into the program, I couldn't have succeeded without them.

Working for The Campus Special has been one of the most rewarding decisions I have ever made. The Campus Special provided me with the tools I needed to further me in the business world and it gave me the confidence to land my now dream job. The Campus Special showed me how to use my communication skills and individuality to go out into the real world and sell myself! From the business conference to the weekly phone workshops, I was able to develop my sales technique. I made long lasting friendships that created an extensive network of contacts. The Account Executive position is definitely a lot of hard work, but it ended up teaching me a lot about how to push myself in order to achieve success. There is a learning curve at first, but every day you get better and better. Although I was a Sales and Business Marketing major, nothing replaces actually going out into the field, interacting with clients, and experiencing things first hand. I learned a lot about my strengths and weaknesses, and learned how to actively improve on them through this program. I recommend the The Campus Special internship to anyone that is willing to work hard and push themselves in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Working for the Campus Special and Matt Brown this summer not only changed my life, but I learned so much about myself during the process and that is truly an experience in itself. If you want an internship that will set you above the rest of your competition while learning your strengths and weaknesses and what you can truly overcome personally and professionally, the Campus Special is the perfect internship. The effort you put into this internship and challenges that you face will mold you into the young professional that everyone will want working for their company. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted to pursue when I finished college, but I know without a doubt that I want to be pursue sales. It is so much fun and so rewarding when you look back at your accomplishments and knowing that Joe, Chau, and Matt are cheering you on and are there for you for whatever you need. The product in itself is amazing, and you feel so confident walking into those businesses knowing that you can help their business. It is truly the best feeling knowing that you have helped somebody while building your resume and getting ready for the future yourself. Working for The Campus Special was an extremely rewarding experience for several reasons. Being given the opportunity to help create a product that is so widely used on campus is something that gave me such a proud feeling. Not only was it great to see my friends and other students using the books, but talking with the business owners who were so impressed with the results was amazing as well. My experience last summer with the Campus Special changed my view on the world of sales. I learned to professionally interact with clients, build rapport and nail down that sales pitch! I learned that with persistance, anything is possible. Selling is definitely a challenge that will change your life forever. As an intern with The Campus Special, I learned a lot from Matt, Chau, and Joe trusting my skills. They believed that I would grow as a person through enhancing my interaction skills with business owners, my confidence in landing a sale, and the overall demeanor in how I dealt with every type of person and client. Matt Brown was the best manager you could ask for. He was always there whenever I needed him, any hour of the day and he ALWAYS had a positive attitude to lift my spirits. Overall, I learned many real-life skills through my experiences with this internship that would not have been possible in a traditional office setting. Plus, the feeling you get when you speak about your summer internship to a fellow student and the person you are talking to instantly recognizes what you are talking about really makes you feel like you did something worthwhile, not only for yourself, but for all your friends, peers, classmates and the entire campus community as well.

Working as an account executive for the Campus Special this past summer was the most beneficial thing I have ever done in terms of my future. Not only did I gain confidence while learning about sales and advertising, but I have also found a career path that I would like to pursue for the rest of my life! Chau Nguyen helped me every step of the way, he was even there to answer my questions after business hours and on weekends. Chau helped me to keep a positive attitude when I needed it and in the end, I became a nationally ranked top seller! Last summer I worked for The Campus Special as an Account Executive. As with most new jobs, I was nervous and apprehensive as to what I was getting myself into! However, I soon began to realize that this internship was the best opportunity that I have ever been given. So many positive events have come into my life because of my internship with The Campus Special. I have had numerous job opportunities from people I have met through the internship, I have clients who have become friends and mentors, and I have gained so much confidence in myself and what I have to offer the business community. The best feeling in the world is seeing the coupon book on campus, and hearing positive feedback from your clients on how much it has helped their business. One of the main reasons why I had such a successful summer was Matt Brown. He was always supportive and inspirational. I had such a great time and learned so much more than I ever thought I would from a summer internship.

Working for The Campus Special this summer was such a learning experience, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity to do it! Despite the first day being a bit nerve-wracking, my supervisors were just a call away. I saw myself consistently make new sales and new leads everyday. My confidence sky-rocketed, and I watched myself grow as a professional more and more everyday! As I'm entering the job market, I love pulling out a copy of the coupon book and telling recruiters, "This is what I made for my school this summer, and I loved it!" The recruiters love looking through the book and are impressed as I tell them the story of my summer, and the examples of how I have grown professionally and personally. I have the Campus Special to thank for it!

When I was first hired for The Campus Special position, I was a little bit skeptical about how the job worked, if I was going be able to make sales, and whether or not the job would be more of a hassle than benefit. After a week of selling though, all my doubts disappeared. The training all the interns went through at the conference answered all my questions about selling and how the job worked, and after actually getting out there and doing the job, I realized what I was doing was setting me up for my future. The communication skills I gained alone will benefit me tremendously in the long run. I can't tell you how good it felt after I made my first pitch and the client was like "Wow! You really know your stuff!" If you're like me, you probably have applied for the internship and are now looking through the testimonials trying to get a feeling for what the job is really about. Believe what you are reading! The job was hard and demanding at times, but it was all worth it! All of the managers were there for the interns whenever we needed them, even in the middle of the night. Matt Brown helped me so much, and was always there to boost my confidence when I had not had a sale, and congratulate me when I did. He is definitely the most dedicated, knowledgeable and caring boss I've ever had. So if you're reading this and thinking about applying, do it--It's the best job experience you'll ever have!

If I had to describe my experience with the Campus Special in one word it would be: UNFORGETTABLE! This internship was the greatest challenge I've ever taken on and because of that, I'm grateful for this amazing opportunity. The Campus Special internship was one of the most profound experiences of my life. Not only did I gain experience that is great for my major like sales, and building as well as maintaining client relationships, but I also developed some life long skills. My confidence as an individual has improved and the best part of the internship is that you get to see your hard work pay off! In class I laugh sometimes because they teach me elementary material that I am already well versed in because of this internship. The supervisors were also a great aspect of the job because they are there to help you not only in the internship but also in life. A good friend of mine had an internship with Chau and Joe the summer before I worked for them and she had nothing but great things to say about her experience so I was beyond excited when I got hired to do this internship. My experience was better than I could have imagined. I went into the summer as a shy, quiet person who wanted to change as well as further my professional career. I talked to Chau almost every day and he was always there for me. He always had something inspirational to say and whenever I got off the phone with him I felt like I could do anything, as cheesy as that sounds. I am so grateful for my experience over the summer with Chau and Joe, I learned more from them than I have learned all through college. Thanks to them I have the confidence and experience I need to go into my professional career and have overcome many obstacles personally as well. If you are looking for professional experience in a world that basically requires it before you even graduate college, The Campus Special Internship is perfect for you. Doing this internship was by far, the best thing that has happened to me during my college career. Chau and Joe told me it would change my life and it did, dramatically. When I first started, I had no sales experience and wasn't even sure if I wanted to be in sales. They gave me the best training which gave me confidence to succeed. On the first day, I walked into a local business, and sold my first ad. It was the most amazing feeling. I was hooked! Everyday this summer I woke up wanting to go to work. I had more fun than I had ever had during a summer in college, and was more motivated and outgoing than I had ever expected. Not only did doing this internship teach me a lot of responsibility, also helped me to realize and reach my goals. Chau was a huge part of that as well. He is an amazing mentor and friend. I understand that in today's market, obtaining an internship position gives you that added edge for securing a good job after college. I truly believe that The Campus Special internship program not only gave me that edge for future, but also for my last two years of college as well. I learned important life skills, i.e., planning, communicating, working as a team player and most of all, and not accepting "No" for an answer. I ultimately learned that what you get out of anything is a true reflection of what you put in. For me, this internship far exceeded any expectations I had. Finally, there are two individuals who exemplified what true leadership means. They really cared about their account executives. I, or any of the interns could call them at any hour of the day. This summer I worked with Chau and Joe putting together The Campus Special coupon book and it was one of the most influential experiences I have ever had. When accepting the internship I was both excited and nervous to do a job in sales, but the Chicago conference, and meeting Chau and Joe reassured me that this was something I could do. My confidence was so high after the conference and I couldn't wait to start selling. My first week was challenging and at first I was nervous, but more determined than ever and Chau never gave up on me and encouraged me the entire time. I knew that I could do this, and refused to let myself and the company down, and by the end of the summer my partner and I ranked 4th nationwide. The experience I received was invaluable and gave me so much more confidence in myself and my ability. Chau always said, "Work hard for me and I will work hard for you," and I know Chau will be there for me anytime I need him in the future. I worked as an account executive for The Campus Special in the summer of 2006 and my life changed in many ways. I had just graduated from college and I wasn't sure what kind of career path I wanted to take, so I decided to gain some much needed work experience as an intern. Not only did the internship improve my confidence when I was on the job interacting with clients, but I also noticed positive changes in many different aspects of my life. I started to carry an optimistic swagger on and off the job, and even my friends noticed a change in my personal life. Chau also supported me every step of the way and I always looked forward to his phone calls to give me the motivation I needed. This internship can help you build professionally and individually. I know now that I will be prepared for whatever career path I take because of the skills I will bring with me from this internship experience.

I initially took the internship with The Campus Special to build my resume and to receive some sales experience. Little did I know that working under Joe Jacobs I would receive the kind of training and experience equivalent to professional sales representatives. I now have the confidence, the expertise, and the qualifications it takes to be a top salesperson. Working for the Campus Special has definitely given me an edge over my peers who worked as summer interns at different companies but lack the skills I have gained. Everything Joe has taught me is going to help me land the job of my choice after graduation. I only hope that my next boss is as encouraging and motivating as Joe.

Working for The Campus Special last summer was an amazing experience. Being so young and not having any previous sales experience, I thought there was no way I would be hired for this position. But, two 1 and a half hour phone interviews later, I found myself off training with incredible people in Chicago. This job made me realize that this is the perfect profession for me. I learned so much and gained so many skills that have helped me in every aspect of my life - professionalism, organization, interviewing, being reliable, interaction and conversation - and I know I wouldn't have been as successful without this internship. I received many job offers and was constantly complimented. Working for Chau and Joe was the best part; they are incredible and really care about you as a person, not just the job. I highly recommend this internship for anyone, any age, who wants to go out and gain confidence and actually learn and take action in relation to advertising, marketing, sales, and people!

My internship with The Campus Special was an amazing experience. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to work for Chau. He was a wonderful boss and was always encouraging and motivating. I feel that I have really grown personally and professionally through this internship. I have learned that with hard work and commitment you can acheive your goals! Chau has been one of the most influential people that I have ever worked for. He helped me realize that I have the potential to make things happen and has always been there to support me every step of the way! I highly recommend this internship to someone who is looking for real life sales experience.

My summer spent interning with the Campus Special ripened me into a young professional. I was given an opportunity to challenge and reward myself through hard work and determination and a daily basis. Joe and Chau's phenomenal words of encouragement and advice propelled me though the summer. I am so lucky to have worked with such extraordinary teachers. The internship provided me with an increased sense of responsibility, diligence, professionalism, and self-confidence that I would have never found with any old coffee running or copy making internship. I highly recommend this internship to anyone who is ready to jumpstart their professional career through hands on work and perseverance.

Working for Joe Jacobs with the Campus Special was an amazing learning experience. When I first started out I had no idea what I was truly capable of. This internship forced me to test myself on a daily basis. Joe taught me that sometimes you're going to face failure, but you have to get up and keep going. By taking his advice, I definitely saw the benefits. I found out that I can be successful if I keep trying. Joe helped me through a lot. He really cares about his interns. Joe and Chau want you to do well and gain the experience you need for your future. This internship is beneficial for someone in any field. There's no way I would have gained the people skills or networking that I got from this internship, in some office desk job. We were actually out there getting hands on experience. It opened up so many doors for me, and I made a great friend in the process. I know that I can count on Joe for anything in the future, whether it be a recommendation, advice, or just a familiar voice to give me motivation.

Last summer when I was given the opportunity to gain much needed sales experience for a future career in pharmaceutical sales, I had no idea that I would also be working for two men that are not only experts in their profession but, are also amazing mentors and motivational coaches. My internship with Joe Jacobs and Chau Nguyen has prepared me for all aspects of my career. In internships I have done in the past, I was always used as an assistant or a clerical worker but, Joe and Chau gave me the training and endless advice I needed to become an independent business woman in the advertising world. Joe and Chau made themselves available day and night for any questions that I had and they were constant support as I became more confident in my sales presentations, helped me out when I felt frustrated and celebrated with me when I was excelling. Each of them made me feel like I could take on the world and truly taught me what it takes to be a successful leader in any career path that I choose to pursue. It is an amazing feeling to know that I have built the kind of relationships with Joe and Chau that are unique to most relationships between employees and their bosses. I know that I can depend on both of them for career advice and support for years to come. I would advise anyone to jump on the opportunity to intern for The Campus Special in order to gain the necessary experience to succeed in the business world!

This past summer working for the Campus Special was one of the best experiences of my life. Joe was such a big support and helped me through the whole summer with everything. I called Joe at least 3 times a day, even over small things, just to help me move my day along. Being an account executive gave me more confidence and helped me attain experience that I could have never gotten with any other internship. Joe gave me that confidence by encouraging me throughout the day, and he gave me the motivation to keep trying and to do my best. With this internship under my belt, going into the real world next fall is going to be a much easier transition for me now with the confidence and experience I gained this summer. You're the best Joe!!! :)

I was about to graduate college and had no experience outside of school. Then Chau and Joe got ahold of me. They had a great opportunity that would give me the experience I was looking for. I couldn't wait to apply everything I learned about in school to a real job. Since I was responsible for my own territory, I learned more then I would have in any classroom. Everyday was a new learning experience for me and taught me something new. Chau picked up on my weaknesses and we worked on them so I was stronger and more confident. His motivation made me want to work even harder. I strongly recommend The Campus Special internship for anyone that wants to get ahead.

My Freshman summer I worked for The Campus Special. I learned more about myself in those few months than in 13 years of school. Joe taught me so much about sales and the business world, but more importantly, he taught me the keys to success: never be discouraged and always keep a positive attitude. Even though this internship was difficult at times, I couldn't be happier that I had this experience. The Account Executive position is made for someone who can rise to a challenge and better themselves along with their future.

Working as an account executive for The Campus Special allowed me a wonderful opportunity to get a glimpse into the business world. I received thorough training that taught me how to speak to all types of business owners, as well as educated me about all kinds of advertising mediums. I worked extremely closely with Chau and Joe in order to improve my communication and business skills. After completing this program, I feel much more prepared to go into the real world, and now I can talk to any type of business professional out there!

Being an account executive for The Campus Special was by far the ultimate experience. Joe Jacobs was a wonderful boss who taught me everything I needed to know about sales. Joe Jacobs knows how to sell! He is an awesome boss, role model, and mentor. I went into this internship with no sales experience and ended the summer with a ton of experience and knowledge of sales. This internship was more than I could have ever asked for!!!! Thank you Campus Special Team!!

Last summer I worked as an intern for The Campus Special and it was an amazing experience. Going into this internship I had some sales experience, but nothing could prepare me for the opportunities that were ahead of me. Everyday held a different challenge or obstacle, but Chau was always there to encourage me to do my best and not give up. As the weeks went by I could see a change in my attitude and confidence. I get so much pleasure out of seeing the results of my hard work this past summer. The skills I learned are ones that I will use in my future career and in everyday situations. I would definitely recommend this internship to anyone looking to grow professionally and personally.

I have known Chau Nguyen for 5 years and can truly vouch for his hard work, dedication, and passion for his career. He was my very first mentor and manager, for whom I attribute much of my success today. Chau helped me build my confidence to increase my focus and sales in a constantly changing marketplace. I currently work for a pharmaceutical company and can honestly say that I learned my dedication and enthusiasm from working with Chau 5 years ago. I have just been accepted to a MBA program in Europe which will help me obtain an international management position within my company in the future. I feel honored to have had Chau serve as a reference for me during this application process to further my education. He has remained an important friend and mentor throughout the years and I believe anyone who has had the opportunity to work with him is very blessed! I know he will be successful in anything he sets out to do because he is loyal, committed, and determined to make a difference in people's lives just like he has done in mine!

There are very rare moments in ones life when you come across a person who inspires you, challenges you, motivates you and changes your life altogether. I was fortunate to meet such a person while working for him as an Account Executive. His name is Chau and he has been one of the most influential people in my life thus far. Chau was always positive, enthusiastic, and motivating. He was always raising the bar for me and that only caused to want to do better, achieve more and not only reach for my goals but complete them. He amazes me with his talent and he is truly gifted. Chau is capable of ruling the world! He made me aware of all that I'm capable of and believed in me every step of the way. I look up to him in so many ways and I thank him for all the he has offered me.

Joe Jacobs is a great person to work for. The summer I worked for him was one of the most rewarding summers of my life. I directly correlate becoming much more confident in both personal and business aspects of my life due to his motivational skills. He made sure that we ended every conversation on a positive note and the light was always on at the end of the tunnel. He is a great motivator, great manager, and most importantly a great guy.

Genuine, caring, and tremendous leadership skills describe Chau Nguyen & Joe Jacobs. I personally had the opportunity to learn and grow while working under their direction in the summer of 2003. I not only look up to them for answers regarding business, but also in personal situations. We have developed a great friendship for the past 3 years. These guys are both driven and determined, which helped in landing me my first job outside of college, with Bank of America. Chau and Joe helped me in many ways such as guidance on my resume and giving me the confidence I needed to succeed. What giving hearts they have and they want to help anyone whom works for them! Chau & Joe are exceptional managers, and people that I would call my friends.

Working for Joe Jacobs has definitely been the most rewarding experience for me to this date. Throughout the three months of my internship, Joe served not only as an invaluable manager, but as my mentor as I expanded my sales experience. He pushed me to work hard everyday to succeed as an account manager, and was one of the best supports I could have asked for during my experience. Without him as my motivator, I know I would not have gained the skills I did to succeed in sales.
One of the first things Joe said to me was; "You work hard for me, and I will work hard for you." I was determined to make Joe proud through this experience and he has without question, lived up to his word and earned his great reputation. I am proud to use Joe Jacobs as my reference as I begin my job search, knowing that I have one of the best sales managers out there on my resume. There is no doubt in my mind that Joe Jacobs has had the greatest impact on where I am today and one of the reasons I know I will succeed in my career. I could not have asked for a better manager and mentor!

In order to become successful in sales at a young age, you need to have excellent role models. Working under Joe Jacobs and Chau Nguyen as an Account Executive in 2002 helped mold my selling techniques before I graduated from college. I currently work as a pharmaceutical sales representative for Merck. To this day, the skills I learned while working with Joe and Chau allowed me to connect with my clients more effectively than many of my team members that have had more time in the field than me! Speaking from experience, they taught me the necessary skills to succeed in the business world and I definitely recommend the internship to anyone looking to get ahead in life!

This past summer I was presented with a wonderful opportunity to sell advertising. In accepting this internship I hoped to merely build my resume and attain sales experience. However, my internship with Joe Jacobs and Chau Nguyen exceeded all expectations and has equipped me with relationships and experience that will serve to my advantage for years to come.
One relationship which I learned the most from, was the relationship with my boss, Joe Jacobs, like most people with this internship I didn't really know what to expect, but after listening to Joe I was inspired to settle for no less than the absolute best. Joe's relationship with his employees is unique, he is a very positive individual, and he constantly praises his employees on their strengths and suggests ways to use their own unique individual strengths never dwelling on our weaknesses. Joe's sales representatives succeeded because he is positive and you feel like he truly cares about your success and is always there to do his part to help us succeed. As a sales representatives I had weeks when I was the best and was selling more ads than anyone else, but I also had weeks when I wasn't selling as many ads as I would have liked, but the one thing that remained consistent was Joe's support, endless advice, and faith in our success. I never felt like I had to succeed for Joe, he made my success my own and was my biggest supporter when I did well and when I was not doing so well. The advice and wisdom that Joe shared with me will continue to aid me throughout my life and has inspired me to get a job in sales. I will always remember, "Persistence pays profits." Joe is a great boss, a wise salesman, but most importantly he is never above being a friend.

It has been my pleasure to work with Joe Jacobs and Chau Nguyen for the past two years of my life. In those two years I experienced everything from anxious novelty, to disappointing failure, to very satisfying success, and Joe and Chau were the leadership, support, and strength that got me through all of them.
There are few bosses in your life that you can actually say affected you in a way that helped shape your future, and to me, that's what these two have done. The reason I believe these men are the best at what they do is because they are so much more than bosses, they are your mentors?they are your friends. A boss is first and foremost a leader, but these two do more than that, more than is necessary or expected. Above and beyond business hours they are available to answer questions, offer advice, and discuss problems. They are focused, ambitious, hard working and challenging. They will push you to challenge yourself, to put forth your best effort, and to think outside the box, supporting you every step of the way. Joe and Chau are some of the most talented people I have met, and I regard them with very high respect. Not only did their constant support and advice allow me to perform to the best of my ability, but their training and expertise allowed me to learn the most fundamental aspects of advertising.
They will help you prepare for your career, and for the obstacles that may lie ahead. The most important part to me though, is that Joe and Chau are not only concerned with your well being regarding the internship, but your well being within your life. They care about your education, your family, and your future. They are genuine, trusting, devoted and enthusiastic, during the times when you would rather be anything else. Joe and Chau have played a large part in preparing me for my future, and have continued to offer advice and support in my endeavors. To work with them is an outstanding opportunity, of which I hope each of you reading will get the chance.

When thinking back to this past summer, there is one part of my experience that stands out against the rest, and that was the guidance I received along the way. Throughout my entire internship experience, Joe Jacobs made sure that his number one priority was making sure that I was not only carrying myself on the highest professional level, but furthermore, was confident and prepared to work each and every day. During weekly conference calls and email reports, Joe made it known that he was there for me whenever I needed his help or advice, and that I always had his support. If I was having a good day with my sales he would be the first to congratulate me, but more importantly if I wasn't doing well, he would make sure that I wouldn't get off the phone unless I was confident and encouraged to push myself the next day. Without this encouragement and support, I don't believe I would have had the success that I did last summer. Knowing that Joe Jacobs was there for me in those ways made my internship experience not only more successful, but more enjoyable.

While Chau Nguyen was by far the best boss I have had yet, because he was honest, patient, and understanding, he was an even better mentor and friend. Chau really taught me a lot about the world around me and how to bring my best qualities forward. He guided me through all my troubles with a true desire to help me. Everything that I learned through Chau is priceless and has already made an impact in my attitudes towards both school and work. Today I count on Chau's help and guidance for my future as much as I relied on him during our tenure together. I know that I have made a true friend that will always be there for me.

Sometimes you are lucky enough to meet people that really add character to your own life. Joe Jacobs is definitely one of those people. As soon as you meet Joe he welcome you with a genuine smile and makes you feel right at home. The experience that I had working with Joe has taught me so many skills for the "real world". Everyone wants to be around someone that is motivated and enthusiastic because it rubs off on you! I've not only learned a lot from Joe, but I have gained a friend/mentor that I know I can always depend on-- and that's not always easy to say! Thanks for everything and anyone would be blessed to work with you!

Chau Nguyen was an exceptional manager. I think what stands out the most about Chau is his utmost dedication to me, every other intern, as well as his emotional support through everything. In the very first week of my internship, I was so close to giving up and felt like the pressure and stress was just too much. Chau was right there. He called me right back and talked me through my feelings and focused on some strategies that I could use. He kept me going. After our talk, I decided to get my mind back into my job and never give up. Chau constant words of wisdom and advice really helped me to strive to my best and to be persistent and positive. Through keeping my positive attitude and knowing I had Chau 110% behind me, I ended up being one of the more successful sellers. Chau was not only an outstanding manager but he was a mentor to me too. He taught me more that how to sell. He taught me to strive to my very best, to keep trying no matter what, and to never take no for an answer. He has always been extremely committed and I admire and strive towards his dedication and hard work.

I've often read about how a single person can have a major influence in ones' professional life. I believe for me that person is Chau Nguyen. He inspired me on a daily basis to not only grow professionally but also personally. Chau was always available to answer any questions that I had or to just simply offer his advice. No matter what challenges I faced each day Chau was always supportive. He is one the most motivational people that I have ever met. I feel honored that I had the opportunity to work with such an amazing mentor. Thanks Chau, for helping me along the path towards my successful future!

Trying to fit my experience with Chau Nguyen into one paragraph is going to be nearly impossible. I started learning from Chau the moment we met? and it has yet to end! I learned more in four days when I was at training than I could have ever learned in a classroom. I continued to learn from him throughout the summer as well. Anytime I had a question or concern, he was always there and guided me through anything and supported me in any situation. Even since the internship ended, Chau has continued to support me and be my number one fan! He was the first person I called when I was promoted to a management position with my current job because I felt that I would not have been able to seize that opportunity without everything I had learned from him. I utilize the knowledge I gained from him when I work with my associates and I strive to treat them the way that he treated me and motivate them the way he motivated me. It has paid off too, because I am consistently one of (if not the) top manager, and when anyone asks me how I do it, I just explain to them that I learned it all this summer!

First off I wanted to thank Chau Nguyen for helping me so much this past summer. Chau was the first supervisor that I have ever felt I could come to, solve any challenges that I faced, and know that it would be resolved immediately. He gave me the confidence and skills I needed from the moment I first started working under his guidance. For the future, I now know what characteristics work the best in leading people in the business world. I often found myself hearing my friends talk abut how they disliked their boss, but time and time again, I always found myself bragging about how Chau would always be positive and supportive in everything I did. After speaking with other interns in the program, all of us agreed that because of his leadership and efforts, we were successful. I wish everyone the same amount of success as I've had from working with Chau!

I just want to say THANK YOU so much for all that you have done for all of us. I mean this from the bottom of my heart, there is not a person I would rather report back to at the end of the day then you Joe. You made every day that passed more exciting and fulfilling then the previous day. Your guidance and leadership through this experience far surpasses anything I have ever been involved with or in. Your positive attitude and competitive nature taught us how we, personally could succeed. A test within ourselves. Thanks again for the most amazing summer! We couldn't have done it without you!

The summer that I spent working with Chau Nguyen as my direct supervisor was the most influential summer of my life. Through our constant interaction, Chau's constant encouragement and words of wisdom helped me to gain more and more confidence in myself with each passing day. Through working with him, I learned more about myself, not as a college student working a summer job, but rather as a trained business professional, being persistent on my path to success, which is a trait that I will carry close with me throughout the rest of my life. There was never a time that I looked at Chau as being my boss, he was always readily accessible, whether it be pertaining to business, school, or my personal life. I continue to talk with Chau on a day-to-day basis, not as a former employee, but as a close friend, with whom I will always be able to call on. I can only hope that my future employers will have as much of an impact on my life as Chau did, and continues to do.

My summer working for Joe Jacobs was definitely an experience that helped me grow as a person, and I truly believe it helped me get to where I am today. Working with Joe this past summer was an amazing experience -- without a doubt! Joe Jacobs has taught me many things about myself personally and professionally. He also taught me to never give up and to overcome huge challenges. To me, Joe wasn't only an outstanding boss, but a good friend as well. I could call him anytime in need of advice in work along with everyday decisions. Joe will always be a reference on my resume and his advice on a future career has had huge impact on me. My working relationship with Joe Jacobs was without a doubt a very positive experience. Despite the fact that we were in two completely different cities halfway across the US, he made it feel like I was working right out of the same office. I always knew that I could count on him to help me with any problems or issues that I may have encountered throughout the workday and if I ever needed to talk to anyone about pretty much anything, I knew I could always call Joe. He handled himself with the utmost of professionalism during our working relationship and the way he carries himself is something that should emulated. I consider Joe a boss and also a mentor.

After reflecting on the time I spent working with Chau Nguyen I've realized I have learned more about others and myself that summer than with any other experience I have ever had. Chau taught me how to be persistent and take things one-step at a time. No matter what challenge I faced he always had a similar situation or a knack to cheer me up and face my fears. On top of all of these things, Chau cares for every person he has worked with. He has always been there for me, whether it be business or personal; he has been a great mentor to me, and as I start out in my own professional career I think back to the example that Chau set and strive to be more like him.
